This Directing Actors Workshop will be a comprehensive and hands on two day workshop covering the role of a Director during Video Production. The participants will go through a series of ‘Directing exercises’, and will quickly understand and appreciate the important work that a Director does. There will be ‘improv exercises’ as well as ‘short scripted scenes’ in which all the participants will take turns as the Director. The second day of the workshop will have each participant directing a scripted, ‘one minute dramatic scene’ which will be video recorded. The workshop will end with a question and answer period.
