"EXISTENCE is (surprisingly) about the idea of existence, it's silliness and the absurdity of being. A solitary character exists in a state of purgatory, unreality, yet almost autisticly oblivious to his world. A recurrent visual motif is used to describe the ascent to heaven, and its futility. Pompous, grandiose music counterpoints the absurdity of the character.
I made EXISTANCE to capture a daydream on film. EXISTENCE is part of a collection of films I'm making about my inner dialogue with Dostoevsky."
