CALL FOR EXPERIENCED VIDEO INSTRUCTORS
SAW VIDEO, Ottawa’s Centre for Media Arts, is looking for experienced video instructors to teach weekend and evening workshops in the following areas:
  • HD and SD Video Production
  • HD Clinics with the Sony PMW EX1 HD Camera and the Panasonic AG-HPX170P HD Camera
  • Post-Production with Final Cut Pro Studio 3, Adobe Premiere Pro CS4/CS5, ProTools, Flash, Green Screen and After Effects
  • Content-based workshops including, but not limited to, documentary production, script writing, and directing/ mise-en-scene

Equipment News
NEW HD EQUIPMENT AT SAW VIDEO!
SAW Video has made some exciting new HD equipment purchases, all of which are ready and waiting to be rented and used by our producing members! New acquisitions include a Panasonic AG-HPX170P HD camera package and a Marshall 7” Lightweight Portable HD Field Monitor.

For post-production, we now have Final Cut Studio 7 and Adobe CS4 running in our “B” edit suite. We have also installed a Matrox MX02 for broadcast-quality input/output via HDMI, SDI, and analog as well as HDMI video monitoring with calibration controls including blue-only for colour correction. Don't forget that SAW Video can now also facilitate Blu-Ray authoring on site from either DVD Studio Pro or Adobe Encore with our external Blu-Ray player.
