Grants to emerging, mid-career and senior artists.
Production and Research/Creation grants
Emerging artists: Maximum grant $16,000
Mid-career and established artists: maximum grant: $60,000
Scriptwriting grants: Project development of drama, documentary, animation, experimental film and video. For mid-career and established artists only.
Grant range: $3,000-$20,000.

Research and production grants available for emerging, mid-career and established artists.
Research grants up to $20,000
Audio production grant: maximum grant of $35,000
New media production grant: maximum grant of $60,000
Emerging artists production grants: maximum $16,000

Dance on Screen Production Fund
This program supports the production and dissemination of Canadian professional screen-based dance work on film, video or using new media. Unlike programs delivered by the Media Arts Section, distribution plans, broadcast licenses or agreements are eligibility criteria for funding. The Dance on Screen Production Fund offers two support components: Development Grants and Production Grants. Delivered through the Dance Section of the Canada Council for the Arts
